Wednesday Black Ice Card

Happy Wednesday,

All this week Imaginisce is having a release party for their new collection Black Ice.  This collection is totally Rocks.  For my project today I created a card using one of their invitations.  I cut it down to my A2 size and then attached it to my card base.  I then fussy cut from the pattern paper this beautiful flower and attached them to the card.  I then used my IRock and attached some glam rocks to the center of the flowers to add a hint of color.

Imaginisce Black Ice Friends

Happy Tuesday.

All this week Imaginsice is Releasing their brand new collection Black Ice.  This is an absolutely beautiful collection that is just perfect for any occasion.  For my project today I wanted to show the versatility of this collection and I used a black and white photo of my boys and made a monochromatic layout.

First I took some acrylic paing and painted a thin layer.  I then layered my paper under my photo.  I then used my Silhoeutte to cut out the clouds - stars- and title.  The clouds are an Imaginisce cut design for Silhouette.  Finally I added some wood veneer, buttons, flair badge, and some yummy black and white twine.
Stop by the Imaginisce blog all this week for a chance to win this AMAZING  collection.  (HERE).

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I will be back tomorrow with a card using this new collection.  See you then.  Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Moxxie always comes out with the best themed sports collections and the Running Collection is just awesome.  When I first received the collection I was totally stumped because we are not runners but then I remembered my friend's son ran Track in high school.  This is a photo of Bobbie Gallant in a Medley Race.

I layered the paper and used some of the awesome die cuts to make the title and add some inspiration.  Finally I added some buttons from my stash and a flair badge along with sume yummy solid twine from The Stringery.

Friday Core'dinations Father Day's Card

Happy Friday!

Father's Day is coming up quickly and I made a Father's Day card for my hubby using some of the awesome Core'dinations cardstock.   I first cut the base of the card using my Silhouette.  I then used my Core'dinations Tim Holtz and Ranger Distress Collection and cut it out to match the base of my card.  I then ran the Faded Jeans cardstock in my embossing folder and lightly sanded to show the patterm.  I then ran my tie using the scattered straw cardstock through another embossing folder and lightly sanded that.  I then stamped my sentiment and lightly inked the edges with the Tim Holtz faded Jeans distress ink.  Don't you just love how this awesome cardstock matches the inks?  I know I do!

Wednesday Imaginisce and Tombow Swap

Happy Wednesday!

Today we are kicking off summer with an awesome blog hop going on between Imaginisce and Tombow!

My youngest son is going on a Boy Scout outing with my older son and hubby and I made a little Tackle Box for him.  It is a surprise.  in his bag.  This little box is filled with some yummy gummy worms.  I think he is going to love it.  To make this little box I used my Silhouette to create the box.  I then used the Tombow Liquid Glue to glue all the edges together so that they are nice and strong.  I then used the markers to color a Snag Em stamp (you can see this in the video).  Finally I attached them on the box with Tombow adhesive squares.

I made a video to show you how I put this all together as well as some fun techniques with the Tombow markers.

Tuesday SOG Digi Release Sneaky Tobie

Happy Tuesday,
Can I tell you how much fun I am having with the Some Odd Girl Design Team?  Well, I am.  Kristy just makes THE MOST adorable images and you know how long I have loved them.  Well, this new release is simply amazing. Not only is she releasing new digi images but she is also releasing some new digi files and this FAB circle card base is one of the new releases.  I cut the card base with my Silhouette and then took the card base and cut it into pie pieces.  I wanted a bunch of different pattern pieces.  I then stitched them all together.  I just LOVE this card base- it is so fun and fresh!
Now for the digi stamp:  HELLO! I am soooo in love with Sneaky Boy Tobie!  He is just so incredibly cute!  I colored him with my Spectrum Noir Markers.  I tried to match his clothes to the paper.

Please stop by the Some Odd Girl blog to see these new releases and stop by the SHOP to pick up Sneaky Boy Tobie and the Cut File Circle Card Base!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I will be back tomorrow with the Imaginisce and Tombow Blog HOp.  Lots and Lots of prizes!  See you then!  Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Monday Moxxie Favorite Photo

Happy Monday!

Did you have a nice weekend?  We sure did!  I was very lazy but had  a wonderful time.  Played tennis, read, played with my boys and just relaxed!   My goal for the summer is to not craft on the weekends and just spend every minute with my family.

I am trying to get my vacation  photos done from 2012 and this is one of my faves.  I loved watching hubby taking Michael close to the water so that he was not afraid.   For my layout I broke an older collection from Moxxie and I just LOVE how it turned out.  I used my Silhouette to cut out the title and camera.  I then added some Bella Blvd washi tape and some flair badges and some wood veneer. I also added some tags from Elle's Studio.   I really loved going deep into my stash and used up a bunch of older embellies!
